Domestic Cricket Career
Akash Singh has not yet participated in every domestic cricket format. On November 9, 2019, Rajasthan played Tamil Nadu in its first T20 match. On his first T20 outing, he dismissed both the opposition skipper Dinesh Karthik and the opening batter Murali Vijay.

Following the competition, Rajasthan’s Akash Singh made his List-A debut in the 2021 Vijay Hazare Trophy. However, in his following two List-A games, Akash was unable to duplicate the same performance. Singh was unable to add to his total of wickets. He also conceded 76 runs in the match against Maharashtra at the same time. The 18-year-old athlete has yet to play for his native state at the senior level in the first-class format.
IPL Career
At the 2020 IPL Auction, the Rajasthan Royals Team offered him a deal for INR 20 lakh. He did not receive a single match from the Royals in the United Arab Emirates. Prior to the IPL 2021 season, they released him, but the Jaipur-based franchise purchased him back at the IPL 2021 Auction for his original base price of INR 20 lakh.
In 2023, Akash Singh played with the team Chennai Super Kings at impressed everyone by taking the wicket of RCB captain Virat Kohli.
