Muzaffarpur was very special for Varsha Singh. Here in 2017, she was also MO along with the block development officer cum zonal officer in Meenapur block for four to five months. She was also posted as Assistant Secretary in the Ministry of Human Resource Development of the Central Government for three months, during which she gave special suggestions to the government regarding the successful implementation of the Mid Day Meal Scheme. Her campaign against corruption as SDO in Gopalganj was very successful. At the same time, she also received the Best ERO award from the Chief Electoral Officer as DDC in Katihar. Due to the efforts of Varsha Singh, an amount of three crores was received by NITI Aayog for development works. At present, she is also discharging social responsibilities in the post of Joint Secretary in the Building Construction Department.
